Privacy policy

This policy explains what information we collect when you use softspanbd.me, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.

01Who is responsible for your information

Sheikh Atiqur Rahman, trading as SoftSpan BD, an individual business in Bangladesh. Contact us using the details at the bottom of every page.

02What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and, if you choose, your phone number, through our sign-in provider.

Order details: what you bought, the amount, the order status and any information you give us to deliver a service.

Payment details: for bKash and Nagad, the number you paid from and the TrxID. Card payments are handled by our checkout provider; we never see your card number.

Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp or by email.

Technical information: your IP address and browser details, used to keep the site secure and to stop abuse.

03Why we use it

To deliver your orders, check payments, send order updates, answer your questions, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

We never sell your information. We use the Meta Pixel to measure visits to the site and the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram; see Cookies below.

04Who we share it with

Only the services that run the store for us: Clerk (sign-in), Neon (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Upstash (abuse protection), Whop (card checkout), Cloudflare (domain and bot protection) and Meta (the Meta Pixel, for measuring visits and ads). If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles that conversation.

We may also share information when the law requires it.

05Where it is stored

Our database and files are stored in Singapore. Some of our providers process information in other countries as part of their service.

06How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them for our accounts and to handle disputes, then delete them.

07Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language. We also use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies and sends Meta the pages you visit, your IP address and browser details, so we can measure visits and our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy. We also use the Whop Pixel, which sends Whop the pages you visit so we can measure our ads and checkouts. You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings, block third-party cookies in your browser, or use an ad blocker; the store works the same either way.

08Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account. Message us and we will reply as soon as we can. We may need to keep some order records where the law requires it.

09Children

The site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
